The Netcompany INEOS Racing Academy will make its Tour de l’Avenir debut with an exciting six-rider line-up ready to test themselves against some of the best young talent in world cycling.

As one of the leading race for young riders, the Tour de l’Avenir has long been a showcase for the next generation and represents another significant step in the Racing Academy’s first season.

Our line-up includes British talents Mattie Dodd and Max Hinds, alongside Italians Davide Frigo and Nicolas Milesi, who recently won the Gran Premio Poggiana. Eritrean road race champion Milkias Maekele and Colombian climber Juan Diego Quintero, the latest rider to join the Racing Academy, complete the six-rider team.

“Development is obviously a big part of what the Racing Academy is about, but we also want to compete. L’Avenir is a great opportunity for these guys to test themselves at this level and show what they can do.”
Geraint Thomas

Geraint Thomas, Director of Racing, said: “The Tour de l’Avenir is a massive race for any young, aspiring rider. You’re racing against some of the best guys of your generation and the level is extremely high.

“We’ve got a talented group heading there and, for the first time, we’ll be racing L’Avenir as a team, which is something we’re really excited about. We want the guys to race with confidence, work together, make good decisions under pressure and take their opportunities when they come.
