Nicolas Milesi claimed an impressive win from the breakaway at the Gran Premio Sportivi di Poggiana.
The Racing Academy rider used his experience to stay cool in the final kilometres as a group of three riders headed into Poggiana to contest the sprint.
Milesi was able to hold off Tommaso Anastasia (Team Technipes) at the line to claim his second win of 2026.
Anastasia had joined Milesi and Cristian Sanfilippo (Biesse - Carrera - Premac) on the run-in after bridging across from the peloton. The reduced group behind couldn't gather enough momentum to make the catch on the final lap, with Juan Diego Quintero finishing in the chasing pack.
