Nicolas Milesi claimed silver for Italy in the Under-23 Time Trial at the World Championships in Montreal.
Milesi went through the first time check second fastest and held his position through to the finish, ending just seven seconds behind gold medallist Ryan Gal of the Netherlands. The Italian clocked a time of 37:33.17 over the flat 31.3km course.
Juan Diego Quintero also finished the time trial for Colombia, crossing the line in 31st place after initially setting the fourth-fastest time at the finish.
Cameron Rogers endured a challenging ride for Australia, suffering a mechanical issue just over 10km into the course. With around seven kilometres remaining, Rogers was forced to change bikes, switching onto his road bike, before completing the course in 39th place.
