Oscar Onley retained fifth place overall at the Vuelta a Espana following an assured climbing performance on stage 19.

A late dig from sixth-placed Jakob Omrzel (Bahrain-Victorious) provided no issues for Onley, who would take a further six seconds at the line on his closest white jersey rival.
